Last wednesday a  70 year old Chilean man named Gonazalo Vargas came to our school and held a leisure. Gonzalo, who works for Amnesty international, told us about how he was imprisoned and tortured for two years.

He told he us about how  he were arrested and beat for his political views, afterwards taken to a prison where the torture began. He were tortured for 2 years, his entire family were tortured aswell. His sisters and sister in law were raped and one of them even got pregnant. He got a letter from his cousin after two years where he was told that she had contacted amnesty international and he should not lose hope, he would soon be free. When he was released he fled to denmark and after 25 years he returned to chile. He wanted to forgive his secretary who betrayed him and turned him in to the police.
